Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The European currency (EUR) was at a one-year high against the US Dollar (USD) on expectations that Federal Reserve policy makers will keep the interest rates low.

The EUR traded at 1.4794 against the USD in Tokyo this morning, according to reports.

The Japanese Yen (JPY) was up to a seven-month high against the Greenback on prospects that G20 will call for a reduction in global trade imbalances that may cause further gains in other leading world currencies. JPY rose to 90.88 against the USD.
