Expo Bangladesh trade fair begins in London November 1

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – A 3-day Bangladesh fair in London will begin on November 1 this year to popularize the products of the country.

Bangladesh-British Trade Co-operation (BBTC) organizes the Expo Bangladesh 2009 with the assistance of Bangladesh High Commission in London and British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, the organizers said.

Bangladeshi export items including apparels, leather products, tea, crafts, frozen food, dry food, furniture and home textile will be displayed at the fair.

The United Kingdom (UK) is the third biggest importer of such products and garments globally, after US and Germany.

Organizers of the fair expressed hope that the new entrepreneurs will get greater opportunity by such kind of fair to introduce their products. They should be aware how to enhance export basket through participating in the fair.
