Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– A three-member Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) team met the members of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) in Dhaka on Sunday.
They exchanged views on ensuing ‘India Show’ (an exposition of Indian goods and services) scheduled to be held in the first week of December at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka, a press statement said.
The show is being organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India in association with FICCI and the High Commission of India in Bangladesh and support of FBCCI and IBCCI.
Goutam Ghosh, Director (South Asia) and Jasmeet Singh, Deputy Director of FICCI briefed the meeting on the objective of organizing the show in Bangladesh for the first time. 
The FICCI officials informed that in addition to showcasing Indian goods and services, the main objective of the show is aimed at enhancing bilateral economic cooperation through increased Indian investments in all prospective sectors under joint venture with Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.
Around 150 Indian companies and a 300 member delegation from India are expected to participate in the show. 
A few seminars on trade and investment related issues will also be organized on the occasion as sideline events of the show. 
Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran, First Secretary (Commercial) B Shyam and IBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad attended the meeting.
