Finance minister leaves for London Thursday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will leave Dhaka for London on Thursday, officials said on Tuesday.

During his three-day stay in the United Kingdom, the minister would attend a meeting with expatriate Bangladeshis to be held in London.

Mr. Muhith would leave London for New York on September 19. The minister would join annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a high-level meeting on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 2010-11 for Asia and the Pacific, conference of IMF, Bali dialogue and annual meeting of bank fund and development committee.
