Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Finance Minister AMA Muhith is placing the national budget for fiscal year (FY) 2012-13 at the Parliament on Thursday amid boycott of the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
The minister began placing the multimedia presentation of the budget around 3:25pm.
Earlier in the afternoon the cabinet has approved the BDT 1.9 trillion national budget for FY’13.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting at the parliament complex in the capital Dhaka.
