Fire breaks out at NCTB godown in Dhaka

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A fire broke out at the godown of National Textbook and Curriculum Board(NCTB) at Tejgaon industrial area in Dhaka on Sunday morning.

Ten fire fighting units rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.

Labourers of the godown said they informed the authority when they saw smoke coming out from inside the godown.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid visited the spot.

Printed textbooks and papers for distribution at primary level for free were stored in the godown, according to reports.
