Five Insurance cos recommends dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN):Five Insurance companies—Phoenix Insurance, Dhaka Insurance, Nitol Insurance, peoples Insurance and Central Insurance recommended dividend on Sunday.

Phoenix Insurance: The Board of Directors of Phoenix Insurance has recommended Stock dividend @ 25% for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Date of AGM: 12.06.2013, Time: 11:30 AM, Venue: “Muktijuddah Hall”, Institution of Diploma Engineers, 160/A Kakrail, Dhaka. Record date: 07.05.2013.

The Company has also reported net profit after tax of BDT 108.95 million, EPS of BDT. 3.38, NAV per share of Tk. 26.20 and NOCFPS of BDT 2.35 for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Dhaka Insurance: The Board of Directors of Dhaka Insurance has recommended 20% cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Date of AGM: 20.06.2013, Time: 10:30 AM, Venue: Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh, IDEB Bhaban, 160/A, Kakrail, Dhaka-1000. Record Date: 05.05.2013.

The Company has also reported EPS of Tk. 2.84, NAV per share of Tk. 18.02 and NOCFPS of Tk. 3.96 for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Nitol Insurance: The Board of Directors of Nitol Insurance has recommended 10% cash dividend and 6% stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2012.
Date of AGM: 11.06.2013, Time: 11:00 AM, Venue: “Trust Milonayaton”, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka. Record Date: 28.04.2013.

The Company has also reported EPS of Tk. 2.75, NAV per share of Tk. 16.33 and NOCFPS of Tk. 3.19 for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Peoples Insurance: The Board of Directors of Peoples Insurance has recommended 15% cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2012.
Date of AGM: 27.06.2013, Time: 10:30 AM, Venue: Officers Club Dhaka, 26, Baily Road, Dhaka. Record Date: 12.05.2013.

The Company has also reported EPS of Tk. 2.05, NAV per share of Tk. 20.72 and NOCFPS of Tk. 3.12 for the year ended on December 31, 2012.

Central Insurance: The Board of Directors of Central Insurance has recommended 12% stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2012.
Date of AGM: 20.06.2013, Time: 11:00 AM, Venue: Officers Club, 26, Baily Road, Dhaka. Record date: 30.04.2013.

The Company has also reported EPS of Tk. 1.73, NAV per share of Tk. 21.33 and NOCFPS of Tk. 2.67 for the year ended on December 31, 2012.
