Toronto, Canada (BBN)- The Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA) Festival - 2012 begun at Hotel Sheraton in Toronto on Saturday.
More than 10,000 Bangalees living in North America are expected to join the two-day festival and enjoy cultural performances by popular artists from Bangladesh and India.
'Bangladesh in Our Feeling and Spirit' is the theme of the festival. The festival will to be divided into three segments, according to reports.
Bangalee children will take part in recitation, singing, acting, art and dance competitions in the festival.
A fair named 'Bangla Mela' will be held in the morning while there will be a cultural function in the evening with participation of Bangladeshi and Indian artistes.
