Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Foreign Minister Dipu Moni on Tuesday stressed the need for appropriate inquiry into the reported financial irregularities of the Grameen Bank saying that people wants to know the truth of the incident.
Money of the Grameen Bank belongs to the people and the people have the right to know about the poor people’s money, the foreign minister told reporters while replying to queries about the Grameen Bank’s alleged scam at her office in Dhaka on Tuesday.
To another question, she said the Bangladesh Bank and other concerned agencies would inquire into the matter.
