Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – A four-day housing fair begins at the auditorium of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh in the country’s port city, Chittagong on Wednesday, organizers said.
The Bangladesh Real Estate Directory is organizing the 9th BD-RED Housing Fair to be opened by the Chittagong mayor, M Manjur Alam, as chief guest.
Fifty two organizations, including realtors and building material suppliers, will take part in the fair, they added.
Yasin Khan, chief executive of BD-RED told reporters on Saturday that a raffle draw would be held with free coupons for the visitors on the concluding day.
The prizes include an LCD television, a refrigerator, a Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka air ticket, a micro oven and three Dhaka-Chittagong-Dhaka air-conditioned bus tickets, he added.
The fair will remain open for visitors from 11:00am to 9:00pm every day.
