Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Four more sponsor-directors have expressed their willingness to buy shares of their companies at prevailing market prices within the next 30 working days.
Muhammmed Abdul Khaleque, one of the sponsors/directors of Federal Insurance, has expressed his intention to buy 56,000 shares in addition to his current holding of 6,98,553 shares of the Company.
Rajibul Huq Chowdhury, one of the directors of City Bank, has expressed his intention to buy 200,000 shares in addition to his current holding of 18,88,420 shares of the Company.
Abdul Malek, one of the directors of the Mutual Trust Bank, has expressed his intention to buy 100,000 shares in addition to his current holding of 31,72,360 shares of the Company.
Iqbal Khan, one of the drectors of the Green Delta Insurance has expressed his intention to buy 31,000 shares in addition to his current holding of 3,74,220 shares of the Company.
So far, as many as 50 sponsor-directors expressed their willingness to buy shares of their companies to comply with the regulator’s directive to hold minimum 2.0 per cent stakes in their own firms.
