Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The 11th fair of locally manufactured furniture started in the capital Dhaka on Monday.
The fair was inaugurated by Railways Minister Mojibul Haque as the chief guest while EPB (Export Promotion Bureau) Vice-Chairman Shubhasish Bose and FBCCI (Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) President A K Azad were present as special guests at the opening ceremony.
Bangladesh Furniture Exporters Association Chairman K M Akhteruzzaman was the guest of honour and Bangladesh Furniture Industry Owners' Association Chairman Selim H Rahman was the convener in the program.
In the seven-day-long fair some 60 companies have been participating at more than 200 stalls showcasing their high quality and international standard products.
