Dhaka, Bangladesh- The 23rd Annual Sales Conference of General Pharmaceuticals Ltd was held in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday, the company said.
Managing Director of the company Dr Momenul Haq inaugurated the daylong conference.
Director Dr Sarah Momen, Director (Marketing) Mir Zaki Azam Chowdhury, and other officers of the company were present on the occasion.
Mr Momenul Haq, the managing director, said General Pharmaceuticals is going to run its new unit having world class manufacturing facilities in 2010.
He said the machinery of this unit are imported from the European countries. This unit has been designed under the guidelines of the UK MHRA.
As a result, General Pharma will be able to get access to prestigious world markets of Europe, North America, South America and Middle East, he added.
Mir Zaki Azam Chowdhury analysed the sales of the company in 2009 and explained the strategies for the current year.
