Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Federal Foreign Minister of Germany, Dr Guido Westerwelle, will arrive in the capital Dhaka on Saturday for a two-day visit to Bangladesh.
Dr Westerwelle will be accompanied by a high-level business delegation as well as high-ranking German officials, a German Embassy press statement said on Friday.
The German foreign minister is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh asina, Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni, members of civil society and hold a joint press conference with his Bangladesh counterpart during his visit.
He will hold bilateral talks with Dipu Moni at the state guest house Meghna tomorrow. 
The visit is largely designed to mark the 40 years of Bangladesh-German diplomatic relations.
The German foreign minister is due to leave on June 24.
