Gold prices up in global market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Gold gained as appeal for the precious metal rose on declines in USD. Gold for August delivery gained 0.2 percent to USD 936.20 an ounce.

Copper fell on expectations of lower demand from China. Copper for September delivery fell 1.2 percent to USD 5,030 a ton on a 13 percent rise in Chinese stockpiles
