Google changes doodle to mark Ind v Aus semifinal
New Delhi, India (BBN)-As India take on Australia in the ongoing ICC World Cup semi-final in Sydney on Thursday, search engine giant Google has in its own way given significance to the event.
Google on Thursday has come up with a doodle with the flags of both the teams – India and Australia, reports India Today.
The doodle features players with flags of both colours in the background.
The caption reads “Australia and India go head-to-head in the semi-finals”.
It will be for the first time that India is playing a semi-final against Australia in a World Cup match.
The winner of today’s match will play New Zealand in the finals.
Australia has won seven of the ten World Cup matches it has played against India, but India came out ahead most recently in 2011.
Both the teams have been in terrific form in the 2015 ICC World Cup.
While India have bowled out opponents in all its seven matches to remain unbeaten in the competition so far, Australia lost to New-Zealand by one wicket in a low scoring nail biting match.
