Government approves four more private medical colleges

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The government has agreed in principle to set up four private medical colleges outside the capital Dhaka.

The colleges are Ad-din Sakhina Medical College in Jessore, Gazi Medical College in Khulna, Barind Medical College in Rajshahi and City Medical College in Gazipur, a press statement said.

It was decided at a meeting with Health and Family Welfare Minister AFM Ruhal Haque in the chair on January 12.
