Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government borrowed BDT 2.50 billion on Sunday through auctions of treasury bills. It will result in withdrawal of Tk 2.50 billion from the market in the week.
The central bank conducted auctions of 91-day treasury bills on the day.
Bidders offered bids for BDT 5.883 billion against 91-day bills. The central bank, however, accepted BDT 2.50 billion against the bills.
