Govt borrows BDT 11bn issuing T-bills

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The government borrowed BDT 11 billion from the market issuing its treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
Total 31 bids of BDT 16.1974 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 33 bids of BDT 14.1145 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, seven bids of BDT 6.0 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 14 bids of BDT 5.0 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
 The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 7.35-7.37 percent and 7.92-8.05 percent per respectively, according to the auction result.
