Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government borrowed BDT 15.50 billion through its treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
Total 20 bids of BDT 10.1486 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 36 bids of BDT 14.9703 billion for 182-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, four bids of BDT 6.1576 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 17 bids of BDT 7.50 billion for 182-Day T-bills were accepted.
Accordingly, BDT 1.1054 billion was devolved on primary dealers (PDs) and BDT 737 million was devolved on non-PD banks for 91-Day T-bills.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 6.80-7.00 percent and 7.45-7.55 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
