Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The government borrowed BDT 15.50 billion from the market through its treasury bills (T-bills) auction on Thursday instead of Sunday, officials said.
Total 22 bids of BDT 20.5620 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 42 bids of BDT 26.3233 billion for 182-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, 08 bids of BDT 8.0 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 18 bids of BDT 7.50 billion for 182-Day T-bills were accepted.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 6.85-6.90 percent and 7.26-7.49 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
