Govt borrows BDT 15.50bn issuing T-bills

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh government borrowed BDT 15.50 billion through issuing treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
 

Total 38 bids of BDT 22.1524 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 42 bids of BDT 16.1510 billion for 182-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, nine bids of BDT 8.00 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 18 bids of BDT 7.50 billion for 182-Day T-bills were accepted.

The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 6.90-7.09 percent and 7.47-7.59 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
