Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The government borrowed BDT 17 billion from the market through issuing treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
Total 36 bids of BDT 17.8234 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 37 bids of BDT 17.8008 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, 13 bids of BDT.9.00 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 15 bids of BDT 8.00 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 6.74-6.84 percent and 7.91-8.00 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
