Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The government borrowed BDT 14 billion from the market through issuing its treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
Total 39 bids of BDT 18.9356 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 63 bids of BDT 27.0297 billion for 182-Day T-bills were offered.
Of those 12 bids of BDT 8.0 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 10 bids of BDT 6.0 billion for 182-Day T-bills were accepted.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 7.51-7.69 percent and 7.90-7.92 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
