Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government borrowed BDT 15.50 billion through issuing of its treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, officials said.
Total 42 bids of BDT 18.7092 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 98 bids of BDT 36.5738 billion for 182-Day T-bills were offered.
Of those, 19 bids of BDT 8.00 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 38 bids of BDT 7.50 billion for 182-Day T-bills were accepted.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 6.50-6.70 percent and 7.00-7.29 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
