Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The government borrowed BDT 7.50 billion through issuing treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday to finance partly budget deficit for the ongoing fiscal year, officials said.
Total 39 bids of BDT 20.8620 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, 11 bids of BDT 7.50 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 8.09-8.14 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
