Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The board of directors of Grameenphone has recommended 60 per cent final cash dividend for the year ended on December 31.
The GP declared total 140 per cent cash dividend for the year 2015 which represents 96 per cent of profit after tax for the year 2015 inclusive of 80 per cent interim cash dividend which has already been paid, said a statement of the country’s leading telecom operator on Monday.
The telecom operator will hold the annual general meeting (AGM) on April 19 to give the final approval of the dividend.
The AGM is scheduled to be held at 10:00am at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, the statement added.
The record date of the company is February 29.
The company has also reported EPS of BDT 14.59, NAV per share of BDT 22.68 and NOCFPS of BDT 28.73 for the year ended on December 31, 2015 as against BDT 14.67, BDT 23.23 and BDT 23.15 respectively for the year ended on December 31, 2014.
