Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Grameenphone has declared 35 percent interim dividend in cash for investors based on the half-yearly performance of the company.

The mobile phone company reported it earned BDT 55.15 billion in revenues in the first nine months of 2010 which is 14 percent higher than the revenue earned in the same period of 2009.
   
The company earned a net profit of BDT 7.74 billion in nine months. As a result, earnings per share for the first nine months of 2010 stood at BDT 5.73 compared to BDT 5.37 for the corresponding period of the past year, a company executive said.
