Grameenphone signs deal with HSBC on BEFTN

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Grameenphone Limited (GP) has signed an agreement recently with The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited to route GP’s country-wide payments through HSBCnet, using Bangladesh Bank’s central fund transfer platform-Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN).

The HSBCnet is a state-of-the-art, award winning electronic banking system acclaimed worldwide by the Bank’s corporate clients and industry experts, officials said.
