The FBCCI President said he is worried over likely failure to achieve the revenue collection target for the ongoing fiscal year.
The government fixed revenue collection target at BDT 1.39 trillion, which is around 13 percent of the GDP.
Earlier, the media representatives urged the country’s business leaders to put pressure on both ruling and opposition parties to find a way out to the ongoing political turmoil.
Terming the business community as the driving force of the economy, they said businesses must act beyond their political affiliation for the betterment of the economy.
