Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, a leading insurance company, celebrated the silver jubilee program on Tuesday giving emphases on small and medium enterprises (SME) sector.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith attended the program as chief guest.
Economic affairs advisor to the Prime Minister Mashiur Rahman said insurances provide opportunity for small investors to minimize risk on their investment.
Nasir A Chowdhury, Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of the Green Delta said the company has laid more emphasis on SME sector.
He also said the company has achieved remarkable growth in the last 25 years with its efficiency.
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Asif Ibrahim said contribution of insurances, banks and financial institutions is about 30 per cent of the GDP.
