H&M sales rise by 15pc in February

Stockholm, Sweden (BBN)-The H&M Group’s sales increased by 15 percent in local currencies (SEK) in February compared to the same month the previous year.
The sales incensement include VAT, said a press statement of the H&M, the Sweden-based high quality fashion company.
The improvement of the sales came in the first quarter from December 2014 to February 28 this year.
“Sales in the first quarter converted into Swedish Krona Rate (SEK) increased by 25 percent and amounted to SEK 46,791 m (37,524) including VAT,” said H&M statement.
Sales excluding VAT amounted to SEK 40,276 m (32,143), the statement added.
The total number of stores amounted to 3,551 on 28 February 2015 versus 3,192 on 28 February 2014.
