Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Hwa Well Textiles emerged as top gainer and top turnover chart at the two bourses of Bangladesh on the very day of its debut Wednesday.

It’s share traded between BDT 35 to BDT 44.1 during the day’s trading session at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and closed at Tk 44.1 from its’ issue price of BDT 10, posting a gain of 341 percent.

Its’ closed price was BDT 44 at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and gained 340 percent.

Hwa Well Textiles was also the top turnover leader at DSE and CSE.

At DSE with shares worth BDT 298.99 million changing hands while BDT 73.24 million worth shares were traded in the port city bourse.

After Hwa Well Textiles, the DSE’s other top turnover leaders were GP worth BDT 199.16 million changing hands followed by BSCCL BDT 140.51 million, Square Pharma BDT 135.28 million, Matin Spinning BDT 122.05 million, Golden Son BDT 121.55 million, Lafarge Surma Cement BDT 112.59 million, Meghna Petroleum BDT 87.69 million, Emerald Oil worth BDT 73.57 million and Active Fine BDT 67.25 million changing hands.
