IBBL clarification on Mir Quasem

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Mir Quasem Ali is neither sponsor nor founder of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL). After December 12, 2003, he is not director of the bank, an IBBL press statement said.

Expressing great surprise, the bank noticed that some responsible print and electronic media published incorrect information about involvement of Mr Quasem Ali with IBBL before and after his arrest.
