IBBL: Four EVPs promoted to DMDs

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Four executive vice presidents (EVPs) of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) were promoted to deputy managing directors (DMDs) of the Shariah-based bank on Tuesday.
They are Mohammed Monirul Moula, Mohammad Mohon Miah, Mohammad Ali and Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, according to an IBBL announcement.
The change to the bank’s executive level happened five days after the reconstitution of the board of directors and appointed a new managing director of the IBBL.
Arastoo Khan was made the new chairman of the board of directors of the IBBL on January 5 last. He replaced Engr. Mustafa Anwar.
On the other hand, Md Abdul Hamid Miah joined the IBBL as its managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) on Monday.
Earlier on January 5 last, Mohammad Abdul Mannan tendered his resignation as managing director and CEO of the bank on health ground and reconstituted board accepted the resignation.
