IBBL gets award for inward remittance service

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has been awarded for its outstanding contribution to the inward remittance service.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Atiur Rahman, on behalf of Centre for NRBs, handed over the award to Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director of IBBL, at a function held at a city hotel on Tuesday.

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena, FBCCI President Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed, former Bangladesh Bank Governor Farashuddin and former Deputy Governor Khondokar Ibrahim Khaled were, among others, present on the occasion.

The IBBL also received “Branding Bangladesh Award” for its contribution in branding Bangladesh across the globe.
