Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) inaugurated its 317th Branch at Nimtala in Sirajdikhan upazilla of Munshigonj on Monday.
Md Joynal Abedin, director of the bank inaugurated the branch as chief guest.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the occasion.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman of Audit Committee of the bank; Md Saiful Islam, FCA; Dr. Zillur Rahman; Professor Dr. Sirajul Karim, and Md. Mizanur Rahman directors, Muftee Sayed Ahmed, vice-chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee of the bank, Mohiuddin Ahmed, chairman of Shirajdikhan Upazilla Parisad; addressed the function as special guests.
Md. Ashraf Ali, chairman of Kenayeen Union Parisad; Ali Ahmed Bacchu, freedom fighter; Tarikul Islam Khan and Abdul Halim, businesspersons spoke in the function among the local elites.
AAM Habibur Rahman and Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, executive vice presidents of the bank addressed in the program among others.
Md. Obaidul Haque, executive vice president and head of Dhaka South Zone addressed the welcome speech and presented the discussion on ‘Excellence and Success of Islamic Banking’.
Local businesspersons, professionals and eminent personalities were present in the function.
