IBBL introduces Mudaraba Muhor Savings Account in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has introduced Mudaraba Muhor Savings Account (MMSA) to create awareness among the Muslims about the basic right of wives.   
As per Islami Shariah, it is ‘fard’ (mandatory) for a husband to pay Muhorana to his wife. 
The IBBL introduced such account for creation of opportunities to establish this Fard, a press statement said.
The MMSA will help women establish them economically and their dignity in the society.   
Any conscious husband may open MMSA in the name of his wife for monthly installment of BDT 500, BDT 1,000, BDT 2000, BDT 3,000, BDT 4,000 and BDT 5,000 only in 5 years and 10 years terms, the IBBL said.
