IBBL opens 296th branch at Kalkini in Madaripur

Madaripur, Bangladesh (BBN)-Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Thursday opened the 296th branch of the bank at Kalkini in Madaripur, a central district of Bangladesh.

Eskander Ali Khan, chairman of the Executive Committee of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest on August 20, 2015 Thursday.

Md Muhammad Abul Bashar, the deputy managing director of the bank, presided over the inaugural ceremony.

Md Towfiquzzaman, the chairman of Kalkini Upazila Parishad; Enayet Hossain, the mayor of Kalkini Pourashava; Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad, a member of Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank; Md Hemayet Uddin, upazila nirbahi officer of Kalkini and Kripa Shindhu Bala, ffficer-in-charge of Kalkini Police Station among others addressed the programme where businessmen, professionals, officials of the bank and local elites were present.
