Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)-Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) opened its 300th Branch at Chandanaish of Chittagong, the second largest city of Bangladesh on September 9, aiming to provide better services to its clients.
Presided over by Muhammad Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong South Zone of the Bank the inaugural ceremony was addressed by Md. Mustafizur Rahman Siddiqui, Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong North Zone.
Muhammad Abdus Sakkur, Chairman, Kanchanabad Union Parishad, Ahmed Hossain, Chairman, Joara Union Parishad, Jahanara Begum, Councillor, Chandanaish Municipality, Kamal Hossain, President, Siddique Bazar Traders Association, Shafiul Bari Babul, President, Joara Rastar Matha Traders Association, businessman Hazi Ramiz Ahmed, Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed, academician Bijoy Ananda Barua, and women entrepreneur Parvin Akhter spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, a seminar on “Superiority and Success of Islamic Banking” took place on Septermber 8, 2015 preceding the branch opening while Muhammad Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong South Zone presented the key paper.
