Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) opened its 314th branch at Dania in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
Major General (retd) Abdul Matin, the director of the bank, as chief guest inaugurated the branch on Sunday.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director & the CEO of the bank.
The program was addressed by freedom fighter Md Abdul Mabud PPM, chairman of the Risk Management Committee; and Prof Dr Hasan Muhammad Moinuddin, the member of Shariah Supervisory Committee; as special guests.
Hasan Mohammad Jahangir, the member of Dania Union Parishad; freedom fighter Md Abdul Quddus, the Governing Body member of Bornomala School and College; Shaikhul Hadith Md Fazlur Rahman, khateeb of Dania Baitul Ashekin Jame Masjid; Sujoy Chandra Das, the president of Shanir Akhra Mondir Committee; and Sumaiya Khanam, a woman entrepreneur; addressed the function among clients and local elites.
Mohammad Mohon Miah, executive vice president; and Md Obaidul Haque, head of Dhaka South Zone; also spoke on the occasion.
Executives and officials of the bank along with local businesspersons, professionals, and social elites attended the program.
