Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organized a day long orientation program for 184 newly appointed Field Officers of rural development scheme on the occasion of their joining the office on Sunday at Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh.

“Islami Bank is working to free the nation from the curse of interest. The bank is working for socio-economic development of the country,” Professor Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank, said while speaking at the program as a chief guest.
   
He called upon the newly appointed field officers to work with honesty and integrity to change the society. He also said that we have to inspire people to receive the Halal and avoid the Haram.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank, in his Presidential speech said that Islami Bank is working for welfare of human being.  

“We’re working to uplift the villages by covering Bangladesh under Rural Development Scheme,” he added.

Among others, Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Abu Taher Mohammad Saleh, Executive Vice President and Director General of Islami Bank Training & Research Academy (IBTRA) and Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan, Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources Division. Md. Setaur Rahman, Md. Nurul Islam, Syed Abdullah Mohammed Saleh and Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam and Asheque Ahmed Jebal, Executive Vice Presidents also spoke on the occasion.
