IBCF re-elects chairman

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL), has recently been re-elected as the chairman of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum for 2013, the bank said in a statement.

On the occasion, Nazrul Islam Mazumder, chairman of Exim Bank, and Badiur Rahman, chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, were elected as vice chairmen of the forum.

Mr. Zaher is also the managing director of Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals Industry Ltd, chairman of Industrialists and Businessmen Welfare Foundation and vice chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks.
