ICB announces 800 percent dividends on first mutual fund

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) has announced 800 percent dividends on its first mutual fund, the highest in the history of capital market.

The state-run investment company also announced other seven mutual funds and one unit fund on Sunday at a board meeting.

The approved dividends on ICB Mutual Funds for the fiscal year 2013-2014 are as follows: The First ICB Mutual Fund 800 percent dividend, while the second ICB Mutual Fund 400 percent, the third ICB Mutual Fund 250 percent, the fourth ICB Mutual Fund 250 percent, the fifth ICB Mutual Fund 225 percent, the Sixth ICB Mutual Fund 110 percent, the Seventh ICB Mutual Fund 130 percent and the eighth ICB Mutual Fund 120 percent dividends.

The ICB also announced BDT 40 dividend per unit on the unit fund for the year ended on June 30, 2014.

The record date for entitlement of dividend of ICB Mutual Funds will be 12 August, 2014, according to a company disclosure.
