Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organized a workshop on “Strategic Role of Capital Market in the development of Bangladesh” recently at ICMAB Auditorium in the capital.
Arif Khan, Treasure, ICMAB and Member, Securities & Exchange Commission presented theme paper as Keynote Speaker, a press statement said.
Professor Maksudur Rahman Sarker, Department of Accounting & IS, University of Dhaka, Ruhul Ameen, Deputy Managing Director, Excelsior Shoes Ltd. and Mr. Abdul Hannan Zoarder, Executive President, Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market presented the papers on “Investigate the Perception of Investors about Recent shoes Market Crisis in Bangladesh”, “Investment in Capital Market and Capital Market in Bangladesh – Measures needed to make it more effective and efficient” in three technical sessions respectively.
Zahir Uddin Ahmed, President and Mohammad Salim, Vice President of the Institute chaired the technical sessions. Among others, Abdul Aziz, and Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Chairman and Vice-Chairman, Seminar & Conference Committee respectively also spoke on the occasion while Jasim Uddin Akond, Secretary of the Institute offered vote of thanks.
