New Delhi, India (BBN)- India confirmed 15 more cases of the deadly Influenza A (H1N1) virus on Tuesday, taking the total cases to 323, health ministry officials said.

Of the 15 cases that tested positive for swine flu, six came from New Delhi, two from each Chenni, Pune and Vishakhapatnum and one from each Gurgaon, Trivandrum and Dehradun, a health ministry press statement said.

Two of the six cases in the national capital, New Delhi is 15 year old female is a school contact of a previously reported positive case, the statement said, adding that the second case is a 15 year old male.

Meanwhile, a school in Pune was closed for a week due to a rise in the number of students with the Influenza A (H1N1) virus, according to reports.
