New Delhi, India (BBN)- India confirmed 21 more cases of the deadly Influenza A (H1N1) virus on Saturday, taking the total cases to 413, the health ministry said.

Of the 21 cases that tested positive for swine flu, ten came from Pune, four from Jaipur, two each from New Delhi and Visakhapatnam and one each from Bangalore Hyderabad and Cochin, according to a health ministry press statement.

So far, 1946 people have been tested, of which 413 have tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1), 570 out of the 1964 tested have been identified through entry screening, 333 people through contact tracing and the rest were self reported, the statement added.

“Of the 413 positive cases, 294 have been discharged,” the ministry said, adding that rests of them remain admitted.
