New Delhi, India (BBN)- India on Saturday confirmed nine more cases of the deadly influenza A (H1N1) virus, taking the total cases to 91, health officials said.
Of the nine new cases that tested positive for swine flu on the day, four each are from Bangalore and Delhi and one case from Punjab's Gurdaspur city.
About 645 persons have been tested so far of which 91 were found positive for swine flu.
Meanwhile, screening of inbound passengers from affected continues across the world at 22 international airports in India. Till Friday, 54,113 passengers have been screened out of which 37,296 came from affected countries. Of the 91 positive cases, 59 have been discharged.
