India, Ireland cricket teams arrive in Bangladesh Thursday morning

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Three teams – Canada, Pakistan and England – are already in the capital Dhaka while two more teams – India and Ireland – arrive here Thursday morning along with the captains of the remaining World Cup teams to take part in the opening ceremony.

The magnificent show will start at 5.50 pm (local tine) at the new-look Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka after a 55-minute pre-show that will begin at 4.55 pm.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to declare the 14-team 42-day mega event open officially after a welcome song `O prithibi, ebar eshey bangla ke nao chiney’ (O World, now is the time to know Bangladesh).
