Perth, Australia (BBN)-Mighty India defeated the United Arab Emirates by 9 wickets in the 21st match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Perth on Saturday.
From the very beginning of the match, the South Asian team took the UAE under their total grip, limiting them to 102, a smallest total in the history of ICC World Cup 2015.
India amassed the small total losing one wicket in 18.5 overs.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli remained unbeaten at the crease.
Earlier, UAE made their first breakthrough taking the wicket of S Dhawan.
The United Arab Emirates struggled to score only 102 runs losing all wickets in 31.3 overs in their Pool B match.
With the total, the UAE became the ill-fated team that score the lowest total in the history of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 so far.
India started their fielding in a confident way and aimed to reach the quarter final.
Earlier, the United Arab Emirates won the toss and decided to bat first.
